The FabFood project
began as a pitch for a designer hotel in Sweden. The hotel was looking for new ideas of how to renew their
restaurant/bar with art during the Swedish fashion week in Stockholm. Linus wanted to combine designer brands with typical Swedish fast food and create graphic and clean images, in a pop art style. An underlying thought was to be provocative by using cheap, ‘fast’ food and relate it to luxurious designer brands. Linus wanted viewers to ask themselves whether they would by designer branded food or not. His concept was to use these images for the hotels drink coasters but instead it ended up as an art project and the images has been exhibited and sold around the world. One proud owner is the Chanel office in New York.
